When you consider connecting your business to the internet there are myriad options now available to you. Internet Ireland will ensure that whatever option you choose, you will get the best equipment available for your budget.

Multiple carriers and no single point of failure ensure and resilient routing links are maintained at all times. Beyond that we look to serve our clients in a "hands-on" personal and dare we say it caring manner. 

Power
Each individual cabinet has dual power feeds with matched phase. 

Network Cabling
We use Cat5e or Cat6 wiring or fibre-optic cabling for all functions in our data centres. IIL's cabinets are equipped with managed cabling ports and a matched pair of Gigabit Ethernet switches for resilience. 

Switching
IIL uses a two-tiered switching system for speed, reliability, and flexibility. Each cabinet has local, redundant Gigabit Ethernet switching. These are in-turn fed from our network switching core. IIL uses enterprise-class switches within cabinets, and carrier-class switches for our network switching core. 

Connectivity / Bandwidth
We use carrier-class routers, enterprise-class firewall clusters and enterprise class application accelerators/load balancers for speed and reliability. All major routes use a "full mesh" with redundancy built-in.
